Time Machine is a built-in backup application used to keep an up-to-date copy of all of the files on your Mac. Time Machine is unique among most backup applications in that it captures exactly what was on your Mac on any day in the past, making it easy to recover files, emails or media that may have been inadvertently deleted.
Here at Dat-A-Syst, we are fluent in this feature and can help you set it up or restore your data from your Backup Drive
We will ensure that all your data is removed correctly and securely when you decide to sell it to another person.
Whether you Need More Space or an overall faster Computer, Dat-A-Syst has your back. We sell only the best industry standard Hard Drives (HDD) and Solid State Drives (SSD) to fit your needs.
Hard disk drives (or HDD) are mechanical. Most are based on a “spindle and platter” system that works much in the way a record player does. The arm reads the data on the platter, and your system uses it for pretty much everything on your computer. These drives are available today for very cheap prices and in large storage capacities.
Note: These drives are much more likely to fail due to Aging, Impact, and other environmental factors.
Estimated Lifecycle: 2-7 Years
The second type of hard drive, and one that has become extremely popular, is the Solid State Drive or SSD. This type of hard disk uses an electrical cell grid to write data directly to a memory module, exactly like the RAM in your system. These drives read and write data extremely quickly and are a key reason why today’s computers are so fast. While these drives are more expensive (depending on the storage capacity) than their mechanical counterparts, they are immensely faster and more reliable.
Estimated Lifecycle: around 7-10 years.

When all other attempts to recover your data in-house have been exhausted, we can outsource your recovery to US Data Recovery.
They align nicely with our core values of honesty, quality, and integrity.
Early stages of failure, low-level failure and/or accidental deletion/loss. The most common type of failure. Very likely be a successful in-shop recovery to a new HDD of your choice.
Estimated Time for Repair:
1-3 Days
More intensive failures involving firmware, circuitry, and more advanced mechanical failures. Decent chances for in-shop recovery. If our attempt fails, this may need to be upgraded to Tier 3 service for a full recovery.
Estimated Time for Repair:
About One Week
Catastrophic failure. Typically requires cleanroom level service. This most difficult type of recovery. Tier 3 cleanroom services required and your drive will be sent to US Data Recovery immediately upon Approval.
Estimated Time for Repair:
1-3 Months

If the machine is restored to factory settings, wiped and reloaded, or has a fresh OS install, ALL DATA WILL BE LOST. The unit will be returned in similar to the out-of-the-box-state. Datasyst will backup data AT THE CUSTOMERS REQUEST. The “Attempt” to recover data is billable at $47.50 per half hour of labor with a minimum charge of one-half hour. This charge applies whether the “attempt” was successful or not.
Data Recovery is NOT always guaranteed to be successful. Technicians reserve the right to forgo any more attempts or the currently running process of backing up your data if they find that there is a significantly high risk of Data Corruption. Datasyst will always contact you regarding your options of Data Recovery and discussion the potential risk factors.
Datasyst is not responsible for any Data Loss and will always encourage the customer to protect and secure their information/content.
